After being available for over 29 weeks now, the HTC One is still the People's favorite smartphone on the Official Smartphone Rankings. Even with competition from the new Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and the popular LG G2, the One has not been beat.

I really do enjoy the HTC One. It's got a lot going for it, even being a little over half a year old now. It's fairly easy to install a custom rom and do with it as you want, the IR blaster is fun to use. It's just a great piece of hardware. I'd be hard pressed to genuinely recommend anything else that came out any time this year. solid build quality, feels very well.
