HTC's unaudited results for Q3 2013 are in, and just as the company predicted, it's posted a loss for the quarter. HTC says that its net loss after tax totaled NT$2.97 billion, which works out to around $101.3 million. Total revenue for the third quarter finished at NT$47.05 billion, or $1.6 billion. To compare, HTC posted a net profit of NT$1.25 billion ($41.77 million USD) and revenue of NT$70.7 billion ($2.36 billion USD) in Q2 2013.
HTC has had a pretty rough 2013 so far: Most recently, a report claimed that the company is having supply issues with the One mini shortly after a U.S. ITC judge ruled that HTC has infringed upon two Nokia patents. Now we've got this loss to add to the list, making 2013 an even bumpier ride for HTC than it already has been. Looking ahead, HTC is expected to introduce its One Max phone/tablet hybrid this month, but there's no word yet on exactly when or where it'll hit store shelves.
