The fact that today is Friday is reason enough for many folks to be in a good mood right now, but it looks like Google is giving some owners of the new 4G LTE-enabled Nexus 7 cause to smile a little wider. Several owners of the cellular-capable Nexus 7 have received an update to Android 4.3.1 this morning, bringing them up to software version JLS36I. The update weighs in at a paltry 9.42MB.
So the big question is, what does a bump to Android 4.3.1 bring? That much isn't yet clear, but considering its small size and its 0.0.1 point increase, it's likely that we've got a simple bug-fixer on our hands. That's not a bad thing, though, as I always say that just about any update is a good update. Stay tuned and I'll bring you more details on this JLS36I update as I get 'em. Until then, be sure to sing out if you've got an LTE-enabled Nexus 7 of your own that gets updated.
