The Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear aren't the only new products that Samsung brought with it to Berlin. The company today also introduced the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition, an updated version of its S Pen-equipped tablet that features a 10.1-inch 2560x1600 Super Clear LCD display, which is quite an upgrade from the original Note 10.1's 1280x800 screen.
In addition to its high-res display, the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) features a 2-megapixel camera on its face, an 8-megapixel shooter on its backside and an 8,220mAh battery powering the whole package. Just as with its Note 3 sibling, the different versions of the new Note 10.1 will be powered by two different processors. The 3G/Wi-Fi models will sport a 1.9GHz octa-core chip, while the LTE-enabled variant will include a 2.3GHz quad-core processor.
Rounding out the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition)'s spec sheet is 16GB/32GB/64GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, 3GB RAM, and the usual array of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS support. The new slate will come preloaded with Android 4.3 and a bevy of Samsung software features, including S Note, Air Command, My Magazine and Group Play.
As far as availability goes, Samsung says that the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) will be sold in Jet Black and Classic White color options. Consumers will also be able to choose between Wi-Fi-only, 3G/Wi-Fi and 4G LTE/Wi-Fi variants. The new Note 10.1 will be available around the globe and is expected to start making its way onto store shelves in Q3 2013.
