Following launches on AT&T and Verizon last month, the Moto X today made its way onto a third U.S. carrier. U.S. Cellular is now offering the 16GB Moto X through its online shop in both woven white and woven black color options. Pricing starts at $124.99 with a two-year contract and $75 switcher credit that's available to new line activations. Existing customers can upgrade to the Moto X for $199.99. If you'd prefer to see the Moto X in person before dropping your hard-earned dollars on one, U.S. Cellular says that the device will be available in stores starting Friday, Sept. 6.
The Moto X is Motorola's latest flagship smartphone, combining a 4.7-inch 720p AMOLED with Motorola's custom X8 Mobile Computing System (includes a 1.7GHz dual-core processor) and 10-megapixel ClearPixel rear camera. On the software side, the Moto X is powered by Android 4.2, and the unit also comes preloaded a few custom Motorola add-ons. Those include Touchless Controls, which allows a user to perform commands after simply saying "OK Google Now," and Active Display notifications that can quietly pulse alerts on the X's display.
