LG G2 to begin rolling out in the U.S. and Germany in September

Wondering when you'll be able to try out the LG G2 and its unique rear-mounted power and volume keys for yourself? If you live in the U.S. or Germany, it won't be long before you're able to do just that. LG announced tonight that it plans to launch the G2 in both countries, which it described as "two of its key markets," starting in September. No other details of the rollout were given.

When it comes to the U.S. rollout of the G2, all four major carriers have confirmed that they will carry LG's flagship. Now that LG has revealed that the G2 will begin rolling out this month, we'll likely have to wait for each of the operators to come forward with their own G2 launch and pricing plans. The good news is that some of those announcements may not be far off, as a recent rumor claimed that the G2 could hit AT&T and Verizon as soon as mid-September. Stay tuned and I'll update you when we hear more.
