Yesterday I told you that Jason Mackenzie, HTC's president of global sales, announced that his company is working to have all U.S. versions of the HTC One updated to Android 4.3 by the end of September. Now it looks like there's some good news for DROID DNA owners as well, as Mackenzie took to Twitter again today to reveal that HTC is also aiming to have the DNA (and all Canadian One SKUs) updated to Android 4.3 before September is up. Mackenzie's tweet is embedded below.
Just as with the HTC One, the DROID DNA is a high-end device that's served quite a bit of time as a flagship on Verizon, so it's no suprise that it'll receive an update to Android 4.3. We haven't really heard much about the DNA's helping of Android 4.3 to date, so we'll have to wait for the update to begin rolling out before we know what's packed inside of it, but HTC's Sense 5 user interface with BlinkFeed seems likely to make the cut. Stay tuned and I'll give you a shout once more details on the DROID DNA's 4.3 update and its rollout are available.
Lots of questions re 4.3 release for One. We r wrking hard (needs cert) to release 4.3 across all US, Canada skus by end Sept. DNA as well.
