Get ready, mobile fans, because Sept. 4 just got a little bit crazier. Sony has begun sending out invitations to an event that'll take place on that date, just a few hours before Samsung's Unpacked 2013 Episode 2 shindig is scheduled to go down. As you can see in the invitation received by Android Central, Sony isn't providing any hints as to what it plans to show off, saying only that there will be a press conference and "exclusive booth unveiling."
So what might Sony have up its sleeve? Well, the Honami is rumored to have its bags packed for Berlin, reportedly bringing with it a 5-inch 1080p display and 20-megapixel rear camera.
The Honami isn't the only camera-centric surprise that Sony could have in store, though, as a recent leak suggested that we could also see the company's new accessory that's basically a new camera that snaps onto a user's smartphone and includes a dedicated lens, sensor, processor and more. If that sounds kind of crazy, well, it is, and it'll be interesting to hopefully Sony does indeed announce the add-on so that we can get an official rundown on what it is and how much it costs. Stay tuned.
