Hopefully Google's got a nice breakfast lined up for those attending the company's event this morning, because at the rate that the new Nexus 7 is leaking, there won't be much else to talk about. After appearing in numerous images and videos, the still-unannounced new Nexus 7 is now available for pre-order from Best Buy. If that sounds like the recipe for a tablet that you want resting on your coffee table, you can pre-order the new Nexus 7 from Best Buy for $229.99 or $269.99 for the 16GB or 32GB models, respectively. Overall the new Nexus 7 looks like a pretty nice upgrade over the previous model, especially considering that you're getting a much higher-res display and a rear camera for just a little bit more cash.
Google's "breakfast with Sundar Pichai" event is slated to kick off at 9 a.m. PT/12 p.m. ET today, and while it may seem like the most of the company's surprises have already been spoiled, you can bet that I'll still be bringing you all of the official news from the shindig as it happens.
