Nokia took to its official Twitter account earlier today to tease that it's got "something BIG landing tomorrow," but it looks like we may not have to wait until then to get the skinny on the company's announcement. Finnish site Puhelinvertailu has gotten hold of an official-looking spec sheet for the Nokia Lumia 625, which it claims is the device that Elop and Co. are planning to show off tomorrow. Here's what we're told to expect from Nokia's newest Lumia:
Two big details that this feature list is missing are the Lumia 625's launch and pricing information. Considering its not-totally-bleeding-edge specs and the fact that its model number is 625, though, it seems likely that this new Lumia will be fairly easy on the wallet. For reference, the Lumia 620 carried a $249 price tag when it was released late in 2012.
With its 4.7-inch display, the Lumia 625 is set to be Nokia's largest Windows Phone 8 device yet. That feature ought to make the 625 appealing to customers that prioritize a large display above almost all else, and an affordable price would certainly help as well. Thankfully it won't be long before all is made officially official, as Nokia is scheduled to make its "BIG" announcement at 9 a.m. U.K. time (4 a.m. Eastern) tomorrow. Stay tuned and I'll bring you all of the details just as soon as they're available.
UPDATE: Following the appearance of the Lumia 625's spec sheet, an image of the device itself has been posted by @evleaks. Besides just offering a better look at the Lumia 625, the press render give us a peek at exactly what the yellow, green, white, and black versions of the phone will look like.
