There's been a pretty steady stream of Moto X leaks in recent weeks, with devices from AT&T, Sprint, Verizon, and even Canadian carrier Rogers showing up. Today we can add another operator to that list thanks to a newly-leaked U.S. internal U.S. Cellular document sent to the folks at Android Central.
According to the memo, U.S. Cellular is currently planning to launch its flavor of the Moto X on August 26. The doc mentions that that date is for "Wave 1, 2, & 3," which could indicate that U.S. Cellular's LTE-enabled markets would get the LTE-capable Moto X ahead of markets without U.S. Cellular LTE service. The memo also shows that stores will be receiving promo materials and a Moto X Launch Kit on August 25.
An August 26 launch for U.S. Cellular's Moto X would line up with previous Moto X release info that's leaked out, which includes an August 23 arrival on Verizon and a more vague August timeframe for Rogers. It's worth noting that all of this information is still very much unofficial, but considering the frequency of these Moto X leaks and the fact that Google chairman Eric Schmidt didn't mind having his photo taken while holding one in public, it definitely feels like the Moto X's arrival is getting close.
