Heads up, Sprint HTC One owners, because you've got a shiny new bundle of software headed your way. Sprint today announced in its official support forums that it's releasing a new update for its flavor of the HTC One that will bump the device up to software version 1.31.651.2. The changelog for this update is brief, packing in an HD Voice enhancement and a tweak that will display Sprint Music+ ringtones in the device's Ringtones list.
This HTC One update is slated to begin rolling out to users today, but as is usually the case with these over the air updates, it'll likely be rolled out in stages and could take some time to hit every single One. Any Sprint HTC One owners that don't feel like waiting for the OTA to come to them can check for it manually by going into Settings > System updates > HTC software update > Check now. The update's small changelog may not make this software bump seem like something that's worth seeking out, but hey, seeing that little update notification appear on-screen always gives you a bit of a rush, doesn't it?
