T-Mobile promised at its recent "Boldest Moves Yet" event that it would be rolling a 4G LTE-enabling update to its Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 in the coming weeks, and it looks like the magenta carrier wasn't kidding around. Today T-Mobile announced in its official support forums that the Tab 2 10.1's update will begin going out to users today, July 15, bringing with it support for that sweet, sweet LTE connectivity. The full (and brief) changelog from T-Mo is as follows:

The update is going out over the air until July 19 and is also available through Samsung's Kies computer software. With this update, the Tab 2 10.1 is the first LTE-capable tablet in T-Mobile's lineup. That's not only a big deal on its own, but it's also notable because T-Mo recently expanded its LTE network to cover a total of 116 markets.
If you're rocking a T-Mobile-branded Tab 2 10.1 and live in an area with magenta-flavored LTE airwaves, you'll definitely want to keep an eye out for an update notification in the coming days. And if you don't already own one, well, T-Mo just so happens to be offering the Tab 2 10.1 with a down payment of $89.99 as part of a sale that runs through today.
