Motorola and Verizon have teamed up to release a number of devices in the DROID line, including the original DROID RAZR and the more recent DROID RAZR HD. Now it looks like the team is coming together for another new device or two, as an unannounced DROID family member has been outed by a Motorola landing page.
A new device referred to as the "DROID ULTRA" has been spied on Motorola's site, and while there aren't any images of the device, there is a small box that contains a few details about the handset. The DROID ULTRA is said to have a DuPont Kevlar body that allows for a thin and tough body, and we're also told to expect the phone to be available in "a bunch of glossy colors." There's also a spec list at the bottom of the page, but the features listed (4.3-inch qHD display, 8-megapixel camera, 2,000mAh battery) line up with the DROID RAZR M's spec list perfectly, suggesting that Moto simply copy and pasted the details to be used as filler.
The appearance of this mysterious DROID ULTRA lines up with a recent leak that claimed that Moto and Verizon were planning to offer "Ultra" models of its DROID RAZR and DROID RAZR M devices. We're still not much closer to finding out exactly what these devices look like or what kind of specs they'll boast, but the appearance of this Motorola landing page does at least add support to the rumors that Motorola and Verizon have some new hardware in the works.
