Today's a good day for button-loving Verizon customers, because the BlackBerry Q10 is officially available for pre-order. Verizon is selling the QWERTY-equipped BlackBerry Q10 in both black and white versions, with pricing set at $199.99 with a two-year commitment or $599.99 contract-free for either model. Any pre-orders placed today are expected to ship out by June 6. The Q10's in-store launch date hasn't yet been announced, though Verizon has said that the will arrive in its brick and mortar outlets sometime in June.

Verizon's flavor of the BlackBerry Q10 is just like any other version of the device, meaning that buyers will be getting a 3.1-inch 720x720 AMOLED touchscreen, 16GB built-in storage, a microSD card slot for additional memory and a 8-megapixel rear/2-megapixel front camera combo. BlackBerry 10 is the software that's running the show in the Q10, and Verizon's model comes equipped with support for its 4G LTE network, including the AWS part that'll be rolling out soon.

The full-touch BlackBerry Z10 has been available on Verizon since March, and so the addition of the Q10 to the carrier's lineup means that anyone interested in hopping onto BlackBerry's new platform have the choice of going all touch, all the time or selecting a device with a touchscreen and full keyboard. It's been quite a while since we've seen Verizon launch a new smartphone with a physical keyboard, and so consumers that can't kick their QWERTY habit may want to check the Q10 out.
