After a handful of leaks and rumors, Samsung formally introduced us to the Galaxy S 4 mini this morning. The announcement included a set of images and a spec rundown, but unfortunately for anyone interested in checking out the Galaxy S 4 mini themselves, Samsung didn't mention any availability information. Thankfully, U.K. carrier Three has released a promotional video that shows the Galaxy S 4 mini in action and should help to tide potential S 4 mini buyers over until we hear more about the device from Samsung.
The clip is a short one, clock in at around a minute and a half long. Three gives a nice rundown of the Galaxy S 4 mini in that time, though, showing off the device itself and rattling off specs like its 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display and 8-megapixel camera. The video also shows the Galaxy S 4 mini stacked on top of the Galaxy S 4 and Galaxy Mega 6.3 to give the viewer a sense of just how the size of the S 4 mini compares to some of its Galaxy brethren.
While Three's video doesn't really provide any new information about the Galaxy S 4 mini, it does give us a peek at a real device in the wild, which an improvement over the simple renders that we saw this morning. Samsung hasn't said when it plans to launch the Galaxy S 4 mini, so it's unclear when we'll get an even better look at the device by holding it in our hands. The company is holding an event in London on June 20, though, so it's possible that we'll hear more there. Has seeing the Galaxy S 4 mini in action altered your opinion of it at all?
