Remember that "Kyocera Elite" that leaked out with Verizon branding last month? It's back again today, and now we've got a bit more information on when it'll make the jump from our screens to our pockets. A new image of the Kyocera Hydro Elite has been posted by @evleaks this morning, and in addition to sharing a higher-quality image of the device, the leakster claims that the Hydro Elite will be hitting Verizon's shelves in late June for $50 on contract. Spec details for the Hydro Elite are still a mystery.
Kyocera recently introduced a pair of new Hydro-branded Android phones for Sprint and U.S. Cellular, dubbed the Hydro Edge and Hydro XTRM, and so it makes sense that this new Verizon-bound unit would be part of the Hydro family as well. That means that it'll likely sport a waterproof design like the Edge and XTRM, but it's not clear what other features it might include. However, considering the specs of the Edge and XTRM as well as the Elite's rumored $50 price tag, I wouldn't expect anything too crazy high-end.
