Is there a better way to start the week than with a pearly white unicorn of an Android smartphone? I'd say not, which is good because some new photos of the white Nexus 4 have made their way online. Posted to Google+ by user Ervin Sue, the images show a Nexus 4 with a white reflective backing, just like the white Nexus 4 units that surfaced a couple of times earlier this year. The sides of the unit are white as well, while the front of the phone remains black. 

Unfortunately for anyone interested in the thing, Sue claims to have gotten his unit from "a local buy and sell website," which doesn't help those of us hoping for a public launch. Whether or not one will ever take place remains to be seen, but considering that two previous Nexus smartphones were offered to consumers with white paint jobs, it's certainly possible that LG and Google could offer a white Nexus 4 in some capacity. Good thing we've got leaked photos like these (and the work of cleaning up the resulting drool) to keep us occupied for now. A few more photos are available over at Sue's Google+ page.
