For the month of April, the HTC One displaced the Samsung Galaxy Note II, breaking its five month winning streak and becoming the number one smartphone on the People’s Choice and Expert’s Choice charts. Announced in February and recently released on AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile, the One garnered 1,645 total votes and 228 expert points. With a metal build, the One features software bonuses such as HTC BlinkFeed and HTC Zoe.
In second place on both the People’s Choice and Expert’s Choice chart, the Samsung Galaxy Note II, with 752 votes and 131 expert points. Debuting last year at IFA 2012 in Berlin, the Galaxy Note II continues to resonate well with consumers due to features and availability on multiple carriers. Maintaining its third place spot on the People’s Choice chart, the BlackBerry Z10 ended the month with 355 votes. On the Expert’s Choice chart, the Apple iPhone 5 placed third with 131 expert points.
