It's always exciting to see a "Update Available" notification pop up on your mobile device because it means that you're about to be on the receiving end of some fixes, improvements, new features or a mixture of the three. It looks like owners of Verizon's Samsung Galaxy Camera are experiencing that excitement today, as Droid-Life notes that a new update has started hitting owners of Big Red's connected shooter.

The update is a biggie, coming in at nearly 180MB, and brings the Verizon Galaxy Camera up to software build number VRAMC4. Neither Samsung nor Verizon have posted any support documents concerning to this new update, though, meaning that it's not yet clear exactly what's packed into it. The only clue that the update gives about its contents is that, after downloading it and rebooting, it displays a message that reads "Upgrading Camera Software."

Considering the size of this update, it'll be interesting to see exactly what Samsung and Verizon have included with it. However, it looks like we'll have to wait for one of the companies to put up some documentation about it before we know for sure what's inside. I'll keep my eyes peeled on the Galaxy Camera's official support pages and update you if any new information on VRAMC4 surfaces.
