The weekend is nearly over, but it looks like AT&T is squeezing in a small software update for its LG Optimus G before the work week begins. AT&T has revealed on its Optimus G support page that a new update is now rolling out to its version of LG's handset, complete with fix for a bug that would present users with a blank screen when accessing the phone's browser. The update also brings the Optimus G up to software version E97011c.
This Optimus G update may not be the biggest bundle of new software that we've ever seen, but the bug that it addresses sounds pretty pesky, so anyone that calls the AT&T Optimus G their daily driver will likely want to grab this update soon. AT&T says that the update is rolling out over the air, and any Optimus G owners that want to snag it can perform a manual check by heading into Settings > About phone > Software update on their device. Complete update instructions, including screenshots, can be found at the AT&T link below.
