We already know that the BlackBerry Z10 will be launching on Verizon, but so far the only opportunities we've had to get a peek at Big Red's version of the new BlackBerry 10 handset are in a single leaked image and on the carrier's official Z10 landing page. That changes today, as CrackBerry has gotten hold of a handful of images showing the Verizon-branded Z10 front and rear. The photos are the best ones we've seen yet of the Verizon Z10, giving us a good look at the Verizon branding in the upper left corner of the Z10's face as well as the Verizon and 4G LTE tattoos on the phone's backside.
The fact that Verizon has opted to place its branding on both the front and back of the BlackBerry Z10 will likely annoy some users, but the decision isn't much of a surprise after the carrier slapped its logo on the physical Home button of Samsung's Galaxy Note II in addition to placing a large tattoo on the phone's rear. The good news for Verizon customers is that while their Z10 will be branded twice, their carrier is the only one in the U.S. that's officially offering the white version of the BlackBerry Z10, so the double branding could be considered a trade-off for the second color option.
As far as Verizon's BlackBerry Z10 launch plans go, the big red carrier has said that it'll sell the device for $199.99 with a two-year contract, but it hasn't revealed exactly when the Z10 will go on sale. However, BlackBerry CEO Thorsten Heins revealed at the BlackBerry 10 launch event that the Z10 is expected to begin hitting the U.S. in mid-March. How many of you Verizon customers are planning on checking out the BlackBerry Z10 once it does finally land on your carrier's shelves?
