T-Mobile is set to launch its 4G LTE network in Las Vegas soon and then Kansas City shortly thereafter, but it won't only be customers on Magenta that are enjoying the piping hot LTE goodness once the coverage goes live. Executives for Ready SIM and Solavei, both of which are T-Mobile MVNOs, have confirmed to FierceWireless that they will offer LTE service to their customers once T-Mobile's network goes live. An exec for Ultra Mobile, another T-Mo MVNO, wouldn't make a similar commitment, but he did say that Ultra Mobile is always working to do what it feels is best for its subscribers and that it'll "definitely consider LTE" once the service is available.
While it's still not totally clear exactly when T-Mobile's 4G LTE network will be going live and how quickly it'll spread, it's good to hear that subscribers on MVNOs like Ready SIM and Solavei will have also access to the service as it's activated. That means that they won't need to switch carriers just to get in on the LTE fun, and now that they know that they won't need to move, they can start saving up for some new LTE-capable hardware. T-Mobile has said that it plans to have 100 million people covered with LTE by the middle of 2013 and 200 million covered by the end of the year. How many of you are on a T-Mobile MVNO like Ready SIM or Solavei? If you are, do you plan on getting a new LTE device as soon as the service is available to you?
