Archos unveiled the first device in its Elements line of tablets earlier this year with the 97 Carbon, and now the latest member of the Elements family has been made officially official on Archos's official website. Dubbed the 97 Titanium HD, one of the slate's most notable features is its 9.7-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2048x1536. There's also a 2-megapixel camera on the 97 Titanium HD's face, and around back is a 5-megapixel shooter. Buried inside the 9mm thick aluminum casing is a 1.6GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB storage, and a microSD slot with support for cards up to 64GB in size. And the OS powering the whole show? Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
As you can tell, Archos has been more than happy to spill the (jelly) beans on the 97 Titanium HD's spec list, but the company hasn't been quite so forthcoming with pricing and availability details yet. It's not clear when Archos might come clean with that information, but with a high-res display, aluminum casing and what looks to be a fairly vanilla version of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, the 97 Titanium HD might be a tablet worth keeping an eye on.
