It's finally the end of the week, and it appears that AT&T has decided to celebrate the arrival of Friday by lighting up several new cities with its flavor of 4G LTE coverage. The big blue carrier announced this morning that its LTE service is now available in a number of locales across the country, including Boise, Idaho and New Haven, Conn. The list of newly-lit up towns announced by AT&T so far this morning looks like this:
Not a bad way to wrap up the week, right? Today's expansion is actually the second bit of 4G LTE network growth that we've seen from AT&T this week, bringing the total number of new markets activated this week up to 15, along with some expanded coverage in existing cities. Whether or not we'll see any more LTE expansions from AT&T in 2012 remains to be seen, but hey, at least customers in these 10 areas now have some piping hot LTE service to help them celebrate the new year.
