Samsung announced back in August that the Galaxy S III would be released in a quartet of new colors: Amber Brown, Garnet Red, Sapphire Black and Titanium Gray. Three of those models have made their way onto the shelves of U.S. carriers, with AT&T selling the red version and Verizon offering the black and brown units, and now it appears that the final color could be making its way stateside next month. According to an image received by TmoNews, T-Mobile may begin stocking the 16GB Galaxy S III in Titanium Gray in its stores on Jan. 4, with availability in all corporate stores and national retailers happening by Jan. 9.
This leaked shot goes on to suggest that, when the Titanium Gray 16GB Galaxy S III arrives, T-Mobile will be giving the boot to the 16GB Pebble Blue model. Stores are reportedly being told to sell their 16GB Pebble Blue stock and then switch over to the Titanium Gray, with no more 16GB Pebble Blue inventory replenishments planned. The good news for fans of the Pebble Blue color is that it'll still be available in a 32GB flavor.
As I noted before, we've already seen AT&T and Verizon offer new Galaxy S III colors, so it's certainly possible that T-Mobile could be getting in on the new Galaxy S III fun too. The Titanium Gray model is the only one of the new four GSIII colors that we've yet to see a U.S. version of, so Samsung may want to fix that by giving the gray unit its own spot on a U.S carrier's shelves and allowing fans of the Titanium Gray Galaxy Note II to get a Galaxy S III in the same color. The good news is that, with a launch that may be going down as soon as Jan. 4, it won't be long before we find out whether or not T-Mobile customers will indeed be able to ring in the new year with a Titanium Gray Galaxy S III.
