Both Microsoft and Verizon recently teased the Samsung ATIV Odyssey along with other Windows Phone 8 announcements, but outside of the fact that it's due before the end of 2012, not much about the Odyssey has actually been revealed. Today the new Samsung handset has gotten a bit less mysterious, as @evleaks has posted what it claims to be an image showing the device's front, back and side. The Odyssey's model number is said to be SCH-I930.
Most of the ATIV Odyssey's spec details are still a mystery, but we can see a 4G LTE logo on its rear as well as a microSD card slot on its side. The device itself looks to be a bit of a mashup of a pair of other Samsung Windows Phone devices, featuring rounded corners similar to those found on the Focus as well as a backside (complete with a lip at the bottom) like what's found on the ATIV S. The good news for those Verizon customers not totally wowed by the Nokia Lumia 822 or HTC Windows Phone 8X is that, with a launch happening before 2013, it shouldn't be too much longer before we know more about the Odyssey. Stay tuned.
