Own a Samsung Galaxy S III on Verizon and in the mood for some leaked update flashing this weekend? If so, you'll be pleased to hear that a Jelly Bean update for Verizon's Galaxy S III has leaked out and is now available for brave souls to download over at XDA-developers. The update is version VRBLJ1 and it brings the phone up to Android version 4.1.1. This is the second Jelly Bean leak for the Verizon Galaxy S III this month, with the previous update bearing the version number VRBLI5.

Samsung announced in mid-October that it would be updating the U.S. versions of the Galaxy S III to Jelly Bean "in the coming months," but so far Sprint's is the only model that's officially been bumped up to Android 4.1. It's not clear precisely when Verizon will treat its Galaxy S III to it's own taste of Jelly Bean, but hey, at least we know it's coming.

For those folks that don't want to wait around for Verizon's push, these leaked updates could help satiate your hunger for things like Google Now and expandable notifications.
