Hot on the heels of announcing the launch date of the Nokia Lumia 920 and Lumia 820, AT&T today revealed when the HTC Windows Phone 8X will be joining its Windows Phone brethren on store shelves. The big blue operator has confirmed that the Windows Phone 8X will be available both online and in stores starting November 9. AT&T adds that the 8GB Limelight (yellow) and 16GB California Blue models can be ordered on November 9 and will begin shipping next week. The 8GB version will be available in Limelight or California Blue for $99.99 with a two-year contract, while the 16GB unit will come in California Blue with a price of $199.99.
The HTC Windows Phone 8X features a 4.3-inch 720p Super LCD 2 display, 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 8-megapixel rear and 2.1-megapixel front cameras and 4G LTE connectivity. With its 4.3-inch screen, the 8X could be a worthwhile option for AT&T customers interested in a Windows Phone with high-end specs and a slightly smaller display. Both devices, along with the Lumia 820, will be available at AT&T on November 9, so anyone trying to decide which Windows Phone to get will be able to compare them in person to help make a decision.
