AT&T this morning made several announcements that its customers may want to be aware of, including availability information on new products and some 4G LTE network expansions. First up, AT&T has revealed that the Samsung Galaxy Express will be launching on November 16 with a price tag of $99.99 with a two-year contract. The Galaxy Express was first introduced in late September and features a 4.5-inch 800x480 Super AMOLED display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 5-megapixel rear camera and 2,000mAh battery. Also included with the Express is 4G LTE connectivity and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
Launching alongside the Galaxy Express on November 16 is the AT&T Mobile Hotspot MiFi Liberate. The MiFi Liberate will be priced at $49.99 with a two-year contract, and for that $50 you'll get a device that connects to AT&T's LTE network and can share that connection with up to 10 devices. The Liberate also features a 2.8-inch touchscreen, microSD card slot and support for use in over 200 countries.
On the 4G front, AT&T today launched its LTE network in Little Rock, Ark. Also seeing some AT&T LTE love today are Bakersfield, Calif., and the Florida Keys, both of which are gaining expanded LTE coverage today. That means that customers in these three markets will have new or expanded LTE service once November 16 and the launch of the Galaxy Express and MiFi Liberate launch. Works out perfectly, right?
