For the month of October, the Samsung Galaxy S III was able to hold its #1 position in the People's Choice Chart, beating the Samsung Galaxy Note II in second by 1,341 reader votes. October marked the fourth consecutive month it was the people's number one choice. However, the Apple iPhone 5 stole first in the Mobile Tech Expert's Chart, beating the Samsung Galaxy S III by a margin of 35 expert points.
In the People's Choice Chart, the Samsung Galaxy Note II took second. And in third was the Apple iPhone 5, trailing the Galaxy Note II by 276 reader votes. For the Mobile Tech Expert's Chart, the Samsung Galaxy S III fell to second, garnering 138 total expert points for the month. Only 13 total expert points behind, the HTC One X took third place, dropping from its #2 spot in September.
