After launching the Motorola Electrify 2 in August, U.S. Cellular today announced another new entry in its lineup of Electrify smartphones, dubbed the Motorola Electrify M. As the name implies, the Electrify M is a bit of a cousin to the DROID RAZR M on Verizon. The Electrify M features a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Advanced display as well as a 1.5GHz dual-core processor and 4G LTE connectivity on U.S. Cellular. Also included with the Electrify 2 is an 8-megapixel rear camera, 1.3-megapixel front-facing shooter, NFC support, resistance to scratches and water, 2,000mAh battery and Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich. U.S. Cellular says that the Electrify M is upgradable to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, but there's no word yet on when that update might arrive.

The Motorola Electrify M will be available from U.S. Cellular's website on November 8, and customers that prefer a brick and mortar buying experience will be able to mosey into their local U.S. Cellular store to buy an Electrify M on November 9. Pricing for the Electrify M will be set at $99.99 after $100 mail-in rebate and two-year contract for customers in U.S. Cellular LTE markets, while other subscribers can expect to pay $149.99 after $100 rebate. U.S. Cellular also recently announced that it'll be expanding its 4G LTE network to over 30 new markets on November 5, which is just a few days before the Electrify M will become available, so USCC customers in those cities will have the option of picking up some shiny new hardware to access their shiny new LTE network.
