The oft-leaked LG Nexus 4 is reportedly going to make the leap into official-dom at Google's Android event on October 29, but that doesn't mean that the leaks of the device will stop until then. Some official-looking renders of the Nexus 4 have been posted by @evleaks on Twitter, showing a handset that looks fairly similar to the one we've seen in previous leaks, but in a more polished state. We can also see that the "with Google" that was on the backside of the Nexus 4 in older images has now been replaced with a "Nexus" logo.
LG's Nexus 4 is said to be based off of its new Optimus G, and as such the Nexus is expected to feature a 4.7-inch 1280x768 display and quad-core processor like the ones found on the latest high-end Optimus. We've also been told to expect an 8-megapixel rear camera, 2,100mAh battery and Android 4.2. Two things that we still don't know about the Nexus 4 are its exact launch date and price point, but thankfully Google's event is scheduled to go down in just five days, so it shouldn't be too much longer before all is revealed. UPDATE: Another picture of the Nexus 4 has been shared by @evleaks, this time showing the front of the device at an angle. In the image above, the notification bar contains a centered clock, leading some to suggest that it could be a screenshot from an AOKP custom ROM. However, in this new image, the time appears on the right side of the notification bar, similar to what we've seen previously in Android.
