Good news this evening for anyone that's had their eye on Verizon's new Motorola DROID RAZR HD or DROID RAZR MAXX HD but have waited to pull the trigger. Both devices are currently available from Verizon for $199.99 and $299.99, respectively, but they can be had for cheaper from both Wirefly and Amazon. Wirefly is currently offering both the black and white versions of the DROID RAZR HD for $149.99 on contract, though it's worth noting that the white model isn't due to ship for 2 to 3 days. Meanwhile, the DROID RAZR MAXX HD is priced at $199.99 from Wirefly, but it also won't be shipping for 2 to 3 days.
For folks that'd prefer to do their business on Amazon, the retailer is also offering the DROID RAZR HD (both black and white versions) and DROID RAZR MAXX HD for $149.99 and $199.99 on contract. However, all three models are currently backordered, and Amazon says that shipments usually go out in 1 to 2 weeks.
Both the DROID RAZR HD and DROID RAZR MAXX HD were officially released yesterday, so it's pretty cool to see them both already being offered at a discount by other retailers. It's worth noting that buying a phone from places like Amazon and Wirefly usually means that you'll face an extra fee if you terminate your contract within a certain period of time after purchasing the device. If you're planning on sticking out your contract, though, these are pretty good deals for anyone interested in one of Moto's new smartphones. Any of you thinking about picking up a RAZR HD or RAZR MAXX HD?
