Last month, MetroPCS teased that it'd be offering the Samsung Galaxy S III sometime later this year. Now we've got a slightly more precise window of time in which Metro customers can expect to get their mitts on a Galaxy S III. MetroPCS has announced on the home page of its website that the S III will be coming in October 2012. There's no mention pricing information just yet, but interested customers can hand over their contact information to Metro to be alerted when more details are announced and for a chance to win an S III.

Samsung's Galaxy S III is already available on a number of carriers here in the U.S., but it's still good to see MetroPCS being added to that list, especially for folks that prefer no-contract operators like Metro. Thankfully for anyone interested in the MetroPCS Galaxy S III, we're just a few days out from the start of October. Here's to hoping that the device comes earlier in the month rather than later. Once we hear more availability details, we'll give you a shout.
