Time for some mid-week Android updates! Both the AT&T and Sprint versions of the Galaxy S III began receiving updates today, and while there's nothing major included, they both contain some nice tweaks that ought to please owners of the devices. First up, Android Central lists the AT&T Galaxy S III's update as weighing in at 82MB and will bump the phone to software version UCALH9. There's no official changelog that's been discovered quite yet, but some of the changes that are said to be included are a brightness slider in the notification shade and new VPN and enterprise settings.

Sprint customers rocking a Galaxy S III can expect an update that'll bring their device up to L710VPL13. According to the official changelog posted by Sprint, the new update includes the Swype keyboard, better LTE connectivity and improvements to SMS messaging and EAS sync.

If you've got an AT&T or Sprint Galaxy S III and have yet to see your phone's update, it might be worth your time to check for it by heading on into its settings menu and click About phone > Software Update. As I mentioned before, neither update is particularly huge or packed with earth-shattering changes, but they both look like nice maintenance updates for their respective models.
