Last year, Motorola made a splash by bringing back its timeless classic RAZR brand. The DROID RAZR was a marvel of mobile phone design, proving that a smartphone could still be stylish and slim without sacrificing durability. Earlier this week, Motorola followed-up the DROID RAZR with an unquestionably worthy successor, the DROID RAZR HD.
Inside the DROID RAZR HD features a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 chipset, Verizon 4G LTE connectivity, a 2,530mAh battery, 1GB RAM and 16GB built-in storage with a micro SD card slot. Around back it hosts am 8-megapixel camera and around front there is a 1.3-megapixel shooter and a 4.7-inch 720p Super AMOLED HD display.
Pricing was not mentioned at the New York event, but it is to be expected before the holiday season, and while it will ship with Android, it will be upgraded to Jelly Bean before the end of the year.
