Hot on the heels of a leak that revealed several of the Nokia Lumia 920's specs, the Lumia 820 has been given the same treatment. A new report from The Verge claims that, like the Lumia 920, the Lumia 820 will be capable of wireless charging, though it's said that a special cover will be needed to actually use the feature. Speaking of covers, the Lumia 820 will reportedly feature several different colors of rear covers that owners can purchase and swap, like the Lumia 710 before it. Other purported Lumia 820 specs include a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB storage, microSD slot and a camera similar to the one on the Lumia 920, though it's not known whether the 820's shooter will also carry the PureView brand.
While the Lumia 820 may feature a slightly smaller display than its 920 brother, the two devices do share some specs, and the 820 looks like it ought to be a respectable option for folks interested in a Windows Phone 8 handset. The 820 is said to be slated for an official introduction on September 5 with a launch to follow in late October or early November. Good thing we've got all of these leaked images and specs to keep us busy until then. So based on what we know so far of both the Lumia 820 and 920, are any of you out there excited about Nokia's Windows Phone 8 offerings?
