Samsung held its "Meet the new way" event in New York City today, and unsurprisingly, the Galaxy Note 10.1 was the star of the show. The S Pen-equipped Note 10.1 will be available in the U.S. starting tomorrow, August 16, with pricing set at $499 for the 16GB model and $549 for the more capacious 32GB version. The Note 10.1 will be available from various retailers, including Office Depot, Best Buy and Amazon. In case you missed the slate's re-introduction earlier this month, here's a quick spec rundown:
As noted by AllThingsD, the Galaxy Note 10.1 will be updated to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, but Samsung hasn't said precisely when that update will occur. Still, it's something worth keeping in mind if you're considering picking up the latest member of Samsung's Galaxy Note family. Considering that the Note 10.1 originally debuted way back in February of this year, it's nice to finally see the thing about to hit the market. So now that the Galaxy Note 10.1 and its S Pen will be available for purchase in just one day, who's buying?
