Looks like its time to admit another device to Club Ice Cream Sandwich. Several Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 owners are reporting that an update to Android 4.0.4 is now rolling out to the Wi-Fi-only version of the device here in the U.S., a couple of weeks after the U.K. variant began receiving its ICS bump. This update weighs in at 254.01MB and will move the Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi to software version IMM76D.UELPL.
While this Ice Cream Sandwich update likely took a little longer to arrive than some Galaxy Tab 10.1 owners would've liked (can updates ever come soon enough?), it's good to see the slate finally moving up from Honeycomb. Owners of the Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi should head on into their device's Settings menu and check manually for the update or hop into Kies if no update notification has arrived yet. As usual, you Galaxy Tab 10.1 owners can use our handy-dandy comments section below to tell us all about the Android 4.0.4 update once you're done installing it! We'll be waiting.
