Well, so much for that mystery. Yesterday we learned that Samsung's next Unpacked event will be taking place in Berlin on August 29, but at the time the company didn't say what it was planning to show. That's apparently changed now, as a Samsung spokesperson has told Reuters that "the next Galaxy Note" will be shown at the gathering. No other details of the device were mentioned.
The timing for a new Galaxy Note makes sense, as the original Note was first introduced at IFA 2011, and this new Unpacked event will be taking place right before the IFA 2012 show kicks off. As for what makes this new Galaxy Note tick, the rumor mill has claimed that we can expect features like a 5.5-inch display and quad-core processor. With August 29 less than four weeks away, it won't be long before lovers of large phones have a new device to lust after, so keep it locked to PhoneDog for more!
