Even in week 21, the Samsung Galaxy S III shows no signs of slowing down as the favorite smartphone in the market. It could hold the top spots for some time to come.

MT. PLEASANT, SC - PhoneDog Media's Official Smartphone Rankings™ (OSR) continue to set the standard for ranking the best of the best smartphones currently in the mobile market by gathering the opinions of several market experts and all readers alike. For week 21, the Samsung Galaxy S III held its #1 positions in both charts. In the People's Choice Chart, it nearly doubled the lead it established last week over the HTC One X with a difference of 223 votes. And it maintained a lead of 11 points over the HTC One X in the Mobile Tech Expert's Chart for the week.

As for the other top positions in the People's Choice Chart and Mobile Tech Expert’s Chart, the top three spots stayed the same. The HTC One X came in second place and trailing by only 16 votes, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus followed closely behind in third. With 35 total points for the week, the HTC One X came in the #2 position and barely held off the Apple iPhone 4S in third with 34 points.
