Owners of the Sprint Galaxy Nexus should get ready for some fresh software, because a newly-leaked document has shown that an update will be headed their way starting tomorrow. As you can see in the image above, the update will begin rolling out on July 26 and will bump the Sprint Galaxy Nexus to version L700.FG01. Included in this FG01 update is a modification to the GalNex's received signal strength indicator (RSSI), support for Sprint TV and a tweak that'll default both the Wi-Fi and LTE settings to "On."

As we've seen with many device updates in the past, this new one for the Galaxy Nexus is expected to push out in waves, so don't fret too much if it doesn't hit your neck of the woods tomorrow. While I'm sure that many Sprint GalNex owners will be bummed that this isn't an update to Android 4.1, it is good to see the phone get some nice maintenance tweaks. It's not yet clear when that Jelly Bean update will hit the Sprint Galaxy Nexus, but Google recently said that all models of the GalNex are "up next" for Android 4.1, so we know that it's coming at some point. Until it begins rolling out, at least Sprint Galaxy Nexus users have this FG01 update to look forward to. We'll let you know when Dan Hesse and Co. make this update official.
