Ready for some fresh images of unannounced smartphones, Sprint users? That's precisely what we've got for you today, as shots of two new Android handsets have made their way online. First up is the Samsung Galaxy Reverb, which reportedly features the model number SPH-M950. The shot above was posted by the @evleaks Twitter account that's leaked several other phones recently, but the tweet and the entire account is now unavailable. According to the leak, the Galaxy Reverb packs a 4-inch WVGA display, 5-megapixel rear and 1.3-megapixel front cameras, 1.4GHz MSM8655 processor, 768MB RAM, 4GB ROM and Android 4.0. A mention of "VM" in the tweet suggests that Virgin Mobile will also land this device.
Some new photos of the Samsung SPH-L300 for Sprint also surfaced this morning. Posted by BriefMobile, the images offer another look at a phone that's leaked out once before. The phone, which will reportedly be known as the Samsung Gogh, is said to feature a "brushed plastic" finish and a body that's smaller but slightly thicker than the HTC One X on AT&T. We're told to expect a 4-inch WVGA Super AMOLED Plus display, 5-megapixel camera, 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB RAM and Android 4.0.4. Google Wallet is also said to come preloaded on the device, helping Sprint to reach its goal of offering 10 Wallet-powered devices this year.
As for when these two phones will actually launch, well, that's still up in the air. There's no mention of a release date for the Galaxy Reverb in the now-pulled @evleaks tweet, and BriefMobile isn't quite sure when the L300 will be hitting shelves. However, the site does claim that an announcement is coming "very soon." We also know that the L300 recently passed through the FCC, so it's at least got that step completed on its way to release. While it doesn't appear that either of these phones will be competing for the title of "Most high-end phone" on Sprint, they could still be capable devices for folks that don't necessarily need or want bleeding edge hardware.
