Verizon is already home to some fairly large-screened Android handsets, but folks looking to go even bigger may soon have a device that's right up their alley. A new report over at Android Police contains several images of an LG Optimus Vu, complete with Verizon branding on its face and Big Red's 4G LTE tattoo on its backside. As you can see above, the Optimus Vu and its 5-inch 4:3 display are a tad bigger than the Samsung Galaxy S III, which boasts a fairly large 4.8-inch screen of its own.
The international LG Optimus Vu was introduced in February of this year. On top of the aforementioned 5-inch 4:3 display with a resolution of 1024x768, the global Optimus Vu packs a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 8-megapixel rear and 1.3-megapixel front cameras and a 2,080mAh battery. While it's not yet clear if the Verizon variant will feature a similar spec sheet, these leaked shots do show that it'll include Verizon LTE support and Android 4.0.4. Also unknown is exactly when this thing will actually be hitting Verizon's shelves, but it appears that the device pass through the FCC late last month as the LG VS950, so at least it's got that out of the way. Until we hear more, you can find Aaron's hands-on with the international Optimus Vu down below.
