Last week we saw Sprint's Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch get updated to Android 4.0, and now Sprint has confirmed that the HTC EVO 3D and EVO Design 4G's own Ice Cream Sandwich upgrades won't be far behind. The carrier today announced that the Android 4.0 updates for both devices will begin pushing out "by early August." No exact start dates were mentioned, but Sprint says that it'll share more details soon.
While EVO 3D and EVO Design 4G owners are still without a firm ICS roll out start date, the news that the updates will begin hitting early next month is still pretty exciting. Sprint says that the updates will include several enhancements, such as a redesigned camera app with effects like Vignette and Vintage, as well as the usual ICS goodies like Face Unlock and support for the Chrome browser. We'll update you with more information on the launches of these updates, but until then, you EVO 3D and EVO Design 4G owners can go ahead and start celebrating in the comments below.
