Less than a week after a rumor claimed that Amazon is prepping its own smartphone, a new report has come forward to add fuel to the unannounced handset fire. According to sources speaking to the Wall Street Journal, Amazon is currently working with its parts suppliers to test a smartphone and that mass production of the device may begin in late 2012 or early 2013. One of the tipsters also says that this Amazon smartphone includes a display that's "four to five inches" in size.
Since it seems as though smartphones nowadays more often than not feature at least a 4-inch display, it's not a surprise to hear that the screen on Amazon's (still rumored) phone could come in at that size or bigger. Of course, there's a bit of a difference between a 4-inch and 5-inch display, so it'll be interesting to see which size Amazon settles on if this rumor is the real deal. When it comes to a screen that's somewhere between those two sizes, what would your ideal measurement be?
