Verizon's version of the Samsung Galaxy S III may not be officially launching until July 10, but a few lucky folks already have the shiny new phone in their hands. Some customers that took part in Verizon's Galaxy S III pre-order have begun receiving their units today, and like any excited phone lover would do, they've taken the time to snap some photos so that we can take part in the excitement as well. As expected, the phone looks like any other Galaxy S III, featuring the Samsung logo and physical home button on its face and both the carrier and Galaxy S III logos around back.
While this news doesn't have an effect on the Verizon folk that are waiting to pick up a Galaxy S III in-store, the early arrival of these pre-orders is a welcome sight for anyone that plunked down their cash early. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like everyone that pre-ordered will be getting their GSIII fun on today, as some folks (including ones that got in on the pre-sale early) are being quoted delivery dates of July 9. That's still earlier than Verizon's in-store date, though, so at least those pre-sale customers will still be getting their device before Joe Public can walk into a store and buy one. If you're patiently waiting for your Galaxy S III pre-order (or for July 10 to roll around) and need something to help pass the time, you can find some more shots of the GSIII in the wild at the Android Central forums links below.
