While we still have some time to wait before Google is expected to make its oft-rumored Nexus 7 tablet official, it appears that an image of the device has surfaced ahead of the start of Google I/O. The render was found on the Google Play Store servers and shows a device similar to the one that appeared earlier this week. There is both Nexus and ASUS branding on its rear as well as a search bar and wallpaper combo similar to what we saw in the recent Android 4.1 Jelly Bean leak, and the device also appears to be sporting a front-facing camera.
Unfortunately, there's not much else we can glean about the Nexus 7 from this new image, although it's interesting to see that the Chrome Beta browser icon is present in the device's dock rather than the regular Ice Cream Sandwich browser icon. The good news is that today's Google I/O keynote is about to kick off, so it may not be much longer before all of the (jelly) beans are finally spilled. Be sure to check out Aaron's liveblog to follow along with all of the action as it happens.
UPDATE: Another new image of a mysterious "Nexus Q" has been discovered. There's not much we know about this device yet, but it appears to be a small black orb that Google describes as "the first social streaming media player.
