Get excited, T-Mobile QWERTY lovers, because a new Android handset with a sliding physical keyboard is headed Magenta's way. According to TmoNews, the device you see above is a Samsung-made smartphone codenamed SGH-T699. This landscape slider is said to feature a Snapdragon processor, 5-megapixel rear camera and another shooter around front, notification LED and what looks to be a physical home button. Also included is Android 4.0.4. Outside of that admittedly brief list, the SGH-T699 is a mystery, but the source of the image does say that the phone runs smoothly.
So when can you get your thumbs on the SGH-T699's hardware keyboard? That's not yet clear, but considering that T-Mobile's current Android QWERTY roster consists of devices like the LG DoublePlay and myTouch Q that came out in October and November of last year, I'm betting that the SGH-T699 can't come soon enough for Magenta keyboard fans. What do all of you T-Mobile customers think of the SGH-T699? Anyone going to be adding it to your new smartphone watch list?
